Same app either way. The subscription runs month to month and you can cancel anytime. Lifetime is one payment for every version, forever, with a key that never expires and never phones home.

What happens when the trial ends?

Tracking pauses; your data doesn't. Every entry, project and past day stays visible and counted. Subscribe or buy lifetime and it picks up where it left off.

Does Dial connect to the internet?

Only if you add a calendar. Then it fetches exactly the address you typed, and nothing else. No accounts, no analytics, no license server. Your key is verified on your Mac with a signature, so it works offline, forever.

Is it on the App Store?

Dial ships as a notarised download and as an App Store build. The sandbox forbids the context features, so the App Store version is the tracker only. The download from this page is the whole thing.
