Changelog

Everything that changed.

Dial updates in place and tells you what moved. No release is silent, and nothing here is a roadmap: this is what shipped.

0.1.0 First release

Dial arrives.

A menu bar timer for the Mac: click a project to start, another to switch, and let it catch the time you forgot to track. Under 6 MB, no account, and nothing leaves your machine.

Tracking

  • One click to start, switch or stop, from the menu bar or T.
  • Unlimited projects, each with a colour and an icon.
  • Three views: the day at a glance, a timeline you can drag, and projects by share.
  • A status item that shows the running time, or stays an icon when the bar is full.

Context, and the review queue

  • Calendar events, calls, tools and music drawn beside the day rather than counted as work.
  • Meetings and away time arrive as proposals; one key decides.
  • Idle detection asks what to do with the gap instead of deciding for you.

Goals, focus and reports

  • A daily goal, and a ring in the menu bar that fills toward it.
  • Focus sessions with a length you mean to spend.
  • Insights across the week, and PDF or CSV exports that are ready to send.

The deal

  • Fourteen days with everything on, no card.
  • $3.99 a month, or $79 once and forever.
  • Keys are signed and checked on your Mac, so Dial keeps working offline and whatever happens to us.
